Race-ready right off the floor, at 6.86kg. All builds have carbon wheels, a power meter, and an integrated bar\/stem that shaves weight while increasing aero performance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e8.6 Watts Faster\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA deeper head tube, deeper fork legs, and a BB junction that shields the rear wheel deliver 8.6 watts of drag savings over the outgoing Soloist. With an additional 4.3 watts on offer when you use the aero bottles (more on that later).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003e267 Grams Lighter As A System\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe frame’s surface area increased by almost 3%, while the fork’s surface area increased by over 8%. But despite these increases, we saved weight on both the frame and the fork relative to the outgoing Soloist, resulting in a lighter bike that’s much faster. At 6.86kg out of the box, you’re bang on the UCI weight limit.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eAero Bottles Save ANOTHER 4.3 Watts\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWater bottles are round, which isn't a shape air flows smoothly around. So for the Soloist, we set out to get some of that drag back, in the form of an aero bottle. We gave the engineering team a couple of non-negotiables—the bottles had to stand up on their own, so you can fill them easily and add drink mix without juggling, and the cage had to take a round bottle so you can grab one from an aid station, neutral service, or your buddy on the side of the road. Round bottles add 6.3 Watts of drag to the bike; the Soloist aero bottles add 2.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eOne Peace of Mind\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe new Soloist features an advanced, one-piece bar\/stem combination that makes both bike and rider faster. As part of developing the new bikes, we made a number of additional stem-length\/bar-width combinations to ensure all riders can get as close to their ideal fit as possible.
