A Cervélo e-bike couldn’t be a flat bar commuter, a fat-tired trekking bike, or something to ride to the supermarket—it had to earn its place in the lineup. Rouvida will do pro peloton speeds on the road, and edge-of-control-two-wheel-drifts off-road, and all the while feels every bit like a Cervélo.

While the design brief didn’t actually say, ‘Don’t make it look like an e-bike,’ it was definitely at the forefront of our minds. The battery was reoriented to sit on its side for sleeker look and the the speed sensor is neatly tucked into the seatstay. We made every effort to make sure Rouvida looked like a Cervélo, whether flying down the road, or leaned against the gas station wall.

Get You a Bike That Does Both

The most unique part of Rouvida’s frame isn’t actually the frame, but the dropouts. A world away from your typical ‘flip chip,’ these interchangeable dropouts have the effect of rotating the entire frame to achieve the fit and handling you expect from a Cervélo road bike, and from a Cervélo gravel bike.
