The Pinarello F1 is an affordable road bike with a world-class geometry. It comes in at a much lower price than the Tour-winning Dogma but still packs plenty of speed to compete at a high level. The F1 is not a climbing bike, an aero bike, or an endurance bike; it is an all-around performance bike with no compromise. Compared to the X, the F is more speed-focused and less of an endurance bike but can still be ridden for miles on end. The frame of the F1 is made with T600 carbon fiber. Pinarello teamed up with world-class carbon manufacturer Toray to create a carbon layup that is lightweight and primarily designed to dissipate road vibrations for a fun, comfortable ride. This type of carbon is more affordable than their higher-end ones but still very light. T600 is still reactive and performance-oriented, so you can get that Pinarello ride quality. Like most of Pinarello’s high-end bikes, the F1 features an asymmetric frame. The thrust from pedaling applies equally to both sides, but the pull of the chain applies only to the right side.
